Dr T just called and they are putting orders in for us to go to Children's Mercy. Not sure if they are keeping us or just going to do all of the lab work and let us go. Dr T is concerned with it being Friday (weekend) and not getting the results back until next week that going through CMH will be more on top of it. Please pray that we are just going in for lab and get to come home.**********
The doctors office just called about an hour a go and so far there isn't any antibiotics that are curing the staph infection in the lab. So we are waiting for the doctor to put in the paperwork for Carson to have some lab work done.
There are a couple of concerns here,
1. Is it in the bloodstream, which means it can affect his organs?
2. Are we dealing with a more serious strain called MYRSA (I think that is how it is spelled)
Either one is very serious. After we figure out what we need to do, he may end up getting admitted and started on an IV
Please pray that we don't have to go that route. I'm sitting here crying thinking of all the bad things instead of staying positive. We just need a break here!!
God please help us and please let some sort of medicine work on my baby. He has been through so much and he is such a wonderful little guy. I cannot think about another hospital stay. I don't know that he can emotionally handle it. Please put your healing hands around him and let the miracle of medicine take care of him. Please.

You are in my thoughts. I have been following you for a little while now and I have seen what you have been through lately. Poor Carson needs a break NOW!!! Holding my breath that it is just something that can be treated. Hang in there.

So sorry to hear this you're in my prayers. I am also praying very hard that it's not MRSA. That's what I had and it was no fun! They were lucky they caught mine when they did or they would have admitted me to the hospital for an IV antibiotic. I think that they had me on Septra but I'll make sure and then let you know.
One question... did the doctor just look at it and tell you it was Staph or did they do some lab work. The reason I'm asking is because the didn't know what exactly I had until the lab work came back.
Oh no... I will be parying really hard for Little Carson!!

Here are more prayers shooting up to Jesus on your behalf. I pray that what ever it is, that the doctors will quickly find something that will make him well soon. I'm lifting you up too, give you some extra strength to make it through.

I am so sorry that this doesn't seem to have an end right now. I am sure that the doctors will find something to help MR. Carson kick that staph in the butt. Remember, you can only take one day at a time (I am sure you don't want to hear it right now). Hang in there, if not for your sake, for Carson's. I know things are tough, but so are you. You guys are always in my thoughts and prayers.
