The rest of our weekend

Well Sunday morning we were up and ready to play the first place team out of Illinois. We ended up winning that game 1-0. Very close game. Cody didn't score a goal but he was the won that ran the ball all the way up the field and then passed it off to Troy who just tapped it in. We advanced to semi-finals and played the first place team out of Indiana and I'm sad to say that they beat us 0-5. We worked really hard and dominated the ball. They had an exceptionally great goalie. I bet we had 30 shots at him and just couldn't get anything by him. So we ended up taking 4th place and also got to leave town 3 hours earlier than expected. Our rankings are as follows: Nationally we went up from 297 to 269, Region 2 (Midwest states) we went from 58 up to 41 and State we dropped from 4 to 6th place. But we are still in the top 10! Our tournament next month in Memphis awards more points and if we do well, we will increase all numbers!

So Monday I just played catch up and shampooed carpet in my living room (Carson decided to smear an Oreo cookie in my carpet) and re cleaned the kitchen, dining room, living room, and my bedroom. I did get some laundry done but still way behind. Charlie brought Carson back (he picked him up Sunday at Kelley's and had him all day yesterday). Since Coltan was also in a tournament this past weekend, his coach decided to cancel soccer practice and give them all a rest. So I ended up making meatloaf, greenbean casserole, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie for dessert. Charlie ended up staying for dinner and helped me put Carson down to bed. Carson really likes it when he has both of us around. Talking about pure spoiled.

So today is Tuesday and guess where I'm at? Home with Carson. Yup, running another fever. The question here is what does he have? He is still on Amoxicil and has been for 6 days. So I'm not sure what the culprit is. Charlie said he didn't really eat a whole lot yesterday so I don't know. I just know he woke me up at 2:00AM crying and when I reached over to snuggle with him he was burning up.

Since it is raining today, Cody's soccer coach cancelled soccer as well. Two whole days with no soccer practice? I guess that will give me time to download my pics and post them. Yea.......Oh and one more thing, since we were supposed to have surgery this week and it got postponed, we only have OT tomorrow and that is it! Maybe I will get caught up at work!
